Devotions of Binding and Adornment

These prayers were inspired by the Devotion of Binding that I found at the Temple of the Flea.  I have modified and expanded it to be used as I am getting dressed for the day.  This practice adds a constant reminder in the very clothing that I wear of my devotion to Loki and His work.  Each phrase is intended to be chanted while putting on that article of clothing or adornment.  Suggestions for expansion are most welcome!

  • Underwear: I bind my hips for my creativity that is bound to you, Loki, Loki, Loki.
  • Bra: I bind my chest for my heart that is bound to you, Loki, Loki, Loki.
  • Leggings or pants: I bind my thighs for my strength that is bound to you, Loki, Loki, Loki.
  • Skirts: I swish my skirts for the freedom that I found in you, Loki, Loki, Loki.
  • Shirts: I shroud myself for my secrets that are shrouded in you, Loki, Loki, Loki.
  • Socks, Shoes, Sandals: I bind my feet for my journeys that are bound to you, Loki, Loki, Loki.
  • Rings: I bind my hands for my work that is bound to you, Loki, Loki, Loki.
